Operation Ice Eagle, Veteran Ice Fishing Without Limitations
ICE Eagle Project Manager Xavier Freebairn-Lopes Eagle Scout in Progress
This project has encompassed many hours of planning and coordination with many local organizations, has involved fundraising over $10,000 and this fundraising effort included Xaviar haulling a 100LB sled full of Ice fishing gear on snow shoes over 30 miles from Scarborough ,ME to Sebago Lake a pull of over 30 Miles on the Sebago to sea trail .
This is one of the most dedicated Eagle scout projects that southern Maine has ever seen. Ray of Lights words "No veteran or family left behind ". This project will allow veterans of all abilities the option to ice fish no matter what level of mobility level is.
With this 8x12 Aluminum lightweight ADA accessible Ice fishing shack to take veterans Law enforcement officers and first responders out on the ice.

"How Many 16 year old do you know that would haul a sled 30 miles? Were proud to have him as a volunteer and personally working with him I have been honored to work with him step by step through his Eagle scout Project. I have watched him grow as a young man and as a leader in this project and As an Eagle scout myself I look forward to the day when I can share the honor oh that rank with my little brother that has been working for two years on this project. I hope he never forgets percerverance breeds success."
